How to configure notifications for offer events, email digests, and in-app alerts.
Notification settings
QuoteNode notifies you when important events happen with your offers and customers. You can configure which notifications you receive and how they are delivered.
Notification events
| Event | When it triggers |
|---|---|
| Offer Opened | A client views your offer via the public link for the first time |
| Offer Accepted | A client clicks “Accept” on the public offer page |
| Offer Rejected | A client clicks “Decline” on the public offer page |
| Offer Replied | A client sends a message through the public offer page |
| Offer Expiring | An offer’s validity period is about to expire (3 days before) |
| PDF Ready | An asynchronously generated PDF is ready for download |
| FX Approval Needed | A currency exchange rate requires administrative review |
Delivery channels
Each notification event can be delivered through:
- In-app — appears in the notification center (bell icon in the top navigation bar)
- Email — sent to your registered email address
- Both — delivered through both channels simultaneously
Frequency options
- Immediate — notification sent as soon as the event occurs
- Daily digest — all notifications from the day are bundled into a single email, sent at a configurable time
- Disabled — notification is suppressed entirely
Configuring your preferences
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Select Notification Preferences
- For each event type, choose the delivery channel and frequency
- Click Save
In-app notification center
The notification center is accessible from the bell icon in the top navigation bar:
- Unread count — displayed as a badge on the bell icon
- Notification list — chronological list of recent notifications
- Mark as read — click a notification to mark it as read and navigate to the relevant offer or customer
- Mark all as read — clears the unread count
Email digest
If you choose daily digest delivery for any events:
- All matching notifications from the day are collected
- A single summary email is sent at your configured digest time (default: 8:00 AM)
- The email includes links to each relevant offer or customer
- Configure your digest send time in Notification Preferences
Role-based behavior
- Salesperson — receives notifications only for their own offers and customers
- Manager — can optionally receive notifications for all team members’ offers
- Admin — receives system-level notifications (FX approval, license expiry) in addition to regular offer notifications
