QuoteNode is self-hosted software. You run it on your own infrastructure, keep your data, and use an offline signed license file for paid entitlements. No telemetry, no usage metering, and no vendor runtime dependency.

Paid checkout is not live yet. Start with the Free edition for real evaluation and contact [email protected] when you are ready for an early Pro license. When self-service checkout is enabled, billing, invoices, renewals, and seat changes will be handled through Paddle.

Pro is the commercial license for teams that want to remove the client-facing badge and keep using QuoteNode with a larger licensed user-account limit.

Licensing Model

• Licensed user accounts — every non-deleted user account counts toward the license. Locked accounts still count. Deleted/deactivated accounts do not.
• Cryptographically signed — licenses are verified offline with Ed25519 signatures.
• Graceful expiry — normal app functionality continues after expiry. After the grace period, the “Powered by QuoteNode” badge returns on client-facing surfaces until a renewed license file is uploaded.
• Self-service billing target — Paddle will handle hosted checkout, taxes, invoices, payment method updates, cancellation, renewals, and seat top-ups once checkout is live.
• Simple tiers — public sale is Free and Pro only. Larger custom arrangements are handled by direct contact until the product surface supports them.

How Self-Hosting Works

You deploy QuoteNode on your own server or private cloud using Docker Compose. We provide the container images and configuration templates. You control the infrastructure, backups, DNS, TLS, SMTP, and access perimeter.

No data leaves your environment unless you explicitly send it, such as emails or public offer links. QuoteNode does not require telemetry, analytics callbacks, or a live license server.
