Freelancer Edition

Licensing Model
- Annual license — a simple yearly fee that keeps the project alive and development moving forward. No per-seat surprises, no usage metering.
- Cryptographically signed — offline verification, no external callouts
- Graceful expiry — if a license expires, all features continue to work normally. The only changes are a small reminder in the UI and the “Powered by QuoteNode” badge on client-facing surfaces. No lockouts, no read-only mode, no lost functionality.
- Your choice — if you need to save money one year, simply skip the renewal. Your instance keeps running exactly as before. When you are ready, renew to remove the badge and support continued development.

How Self-Hosting Works
You deploy QuoteNode on your own server or private cloud using Docker Compose. We provide the container images and configuration templates. You control the infrastructure, the backups, and the data.
No data leaves your environment unless you explicitly send it (emails, public links). No telemetry. No analytics callbacks. No vendor dependency.
